About This Festival
Music is something almost everyone enjoys and those who love jazz music, must stop at the Newport Jazz Festival. Founded in 1954, this festival has featured some of the most famous jazz musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davis. Since it is held outdoors participants can picnic, walk on the beach or take the kids to free workshops where they can learn about the art of jazz. The Newport Jazz Festival is four days of non-stop music and fun for people of all ages.
